EMS 227 Description

The EMS227 Electronic Monitoring System / Controller is micro-processor based for monitoring and control of equipment functions. Current applications for the EMS227 include the following:

bulletCenter Pivot Irrigation Control
bulletWind Machine Auto Start
bulletTimed Irrigation Control with Automatic Cooldown and Shutdown

Operating data is displayed on a custom icon based liquid crystal display.  Operating parameters such as oil pressure, engine temperature, engine speed, battery voltage, fuel level, and engine running hours can be displayed.

The EMS operating parameters are configured through a simple three-button interface. Access to the system memory is controlled by an entry code. You can change such parameters as shutdown set-points, operating delays, and throttle parameters.

Standard Program Features

An on-board hourmeter keeps a log of equipment running hours. Ramp Oil pressure monitoring protects equipment at both high rated speed and low idle speed. Programs may also include some of these features:

bulletBasic start / stop
bulletEngine warm-up / cooldown
bulletDelay on start / stop
bulletAutomatic throttling
bulletPrelube / glowplug functions.
