What is a TATTLETALE®?
A TATTLETALE® is a device used to monitor and shutdown
equipment if a malfunction is sensed. The simple TATTLETALE® relays will pop a button out
indicating the cause of shutdown. More sophisticated units will monitor several
SWICHGAGE® instruments and flash an LED as an indication of the failure. These
SELECTRONIC® TATTLETALE® or ST series instruments are available in first-out
annunciation or an alarm configuration often used in the marine industry that displays
each alarm condition as well as beeping an audible alarm.
